Exploring ways to animate the façade, this strong, simple concept removes the notion of the screen altogether and applies dimensional stainless steel disks (about 8’ in diameter) to the storefront above the new entry.

The over-scaled circles create a dramatic pattern and provide a new background for the Circuit City sign, remounted onto the building façade.

Again, the red box is freed-up to assume an independent, sculptural identity, hopefully with a new, richer surface finish (see above).
